Frequently asked questions
We are a woman-owned boutique mergers and acquisitions advisory firm that provides strategic consulting, valuation, and transaction support to business owners looking to buy, sell, or grow their companies. While we have deep expertise in pest control, construction, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), automotive, education, financial services, HVAC, and orthodontic/dental, we are also adaptable to any industry.
As a woman-owned and independently operated firm, we bring a balanced perspective to M&A — one rooted in collaboration, transparency, and long-term value creation. Unlike large brokerage networks, we take a hands-on, relationship-based approach, tailoring every engagement to the client’s objectives — whether that’s maximizing valuation, ensuring cultural fit, or preparing the business for future capital events. Our team combines real operational experience with advanced analytical tools, including AI-assisted valuation modeling and market mapping, allowing us to deliver data-backed insights with boutique-level service.
We typically represent lower middle-market and emerging middle-market businesses with annual revenues between $3 million and $100 million and EBITDA between $500,000 and $10 million.
We also consult for earlier-stage or growth-phase companies in high-demand or consolidating industries preparing for strategic expansion or recapitalization.
We have deep vertical expertise in:
• Pest Control & Environmental Services – recurring route-based revenue models
• Construction & MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) – trade roll-ups and succession strategies
• Automotive Services – collision, mechanical, retail, and specialty segments
• HVAC & Building Services – residential and commercial contractors
• Education & Training Services – private academies, vocational schools, and ed-tech platforms
• Financial & Professional Services – boutique advisory, wealth management, and insurance firms
• Orthodontic & Dental Practices – practice transitions, group consolidation, and DSO formation
We perform a comprehensive evaluation tailored to the size, scope, and complexity of each business.
Our analysis includes EBITDA multiples, discounted cash flow (DCF) modeling, comparable transactions, and industry benchmarks. We also incorporate AI-assisted valuation tools and real-time deal data to benchmark value drivers against current market trends.
We have closed many transactions in less than 75 days however most transactions take 6 to 9 months from engagement to close. The timeline depends on the business’s readiness, market demand, financial clarity, and buyer type (strategic, private equity, or individual). We streamline the process through proactive preparation, targeted marketing, and early buyer qualification.
Our engagements are structured with a modest retainer and a success-based fee due only upon closing. The valuation fee is applied as a full credit toward the final transaction fee when you choose to move forward with us. We believe in complete transparency — there are no hidden costs or inflated valuations.
Yes. We maintain a network of strategic relationships that provide our clients with access to specialized legal counsel, wealth management advisors, and estate-planning professionals.
These partnerships ensure that your transaction aligns with your long-term financial, tax, and personal goals, not just your exit strategy. This holistic approach allows our clients to transition wealth and leadership efficiently and confidently.
Absolutely — many of our best client relationships start long before a transaction is on the table. We’re not a pressure-driven organization; we believe in relationships first. Whether you’re exploring your options, preparing for growth, or simply curious about what your business might be worth, we’re ready when you are.
